Ralph James May, age 79 of Chipley Lane, Moorefield, W.Va. passed away Tuesday morning October 18, 2016 at the E.A. Hawse Rehabilitation & Care Center in Baker, W.Va.
He was born on March 5, 1937 in Mathias, W.Va., and was the son of the late Elbert Jackson May and Effie Margaret Cullers May. His wife, Carolyn Phyllis Sealing May preceded him in death in August 2011.
Surviving are two daughters, Theda May of Moorefield, W.Va. and Barbara Jean Meinzer of Columbia, Md.; a son, Robert A. Sealing of Jessup, Md.; a sister, Theda Courville-Henn of Pasadena, Md.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Nick Yurcaba officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mathias, W.Va.
