Alma Elizabeth Smith, age 88 of Trough Road, Moorefield, W.Va. passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2017 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, W.Va., where she had been a resident since 2004. Born on April 29, 1928 in Hardy County, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late John Thomas Smith and Eunice Irene Wolfe Smith. She was a graduate of the Moorefield High School Class of 1946 and a past member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a brother, Harlan and Arvella Smith of Old Fields, W.Va.; two sisters, Margel Goldizen of Moorefield, W.Va. and Judith Edwards of Falls Church, W.Va.; ten nieces; two nephews and numerous great & great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Johnnie Stump officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery.
