Madeline Whiteman, 82, of Wardensville, W.Va. died on Friday, December 12, 2014 at her daughter’s home.
Mrs. Whiteman was born on June 3, 1932 in Old Fields, W.Va. a daughter of the late Oscar and Lennie Thompson Dolly.
She was a member of the VFW Post # 2102 Ladies Auxiliary in Wardensville, W.Va.
Mrs. Whiteman married Orville G. Whiteman on June 25, 1966 in Frederick, MD.
Surviving with her husband of 48 years are two sons: John R. “Bob” Dolly and Glenn A. Whiteman both of Wardensville, W.Va.; two daughters:Linda D. Feehly of Wardensville, W.Va.; Paula M. Beishl of White Marsh, MD; a brother: Stanley Dolly of Maysville, W.Va.; a sister: Grace “Edna” Walters of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by 13 siblings.
A funeral service was held at the Loy-Giffin Funeral Home in Wardensville, W.Va. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
Officiating was Rev. Michael Funkhouser. Interment was private in the Dolly Family Cemetery in Old Fields, W.Va.
Arrangements were under the direction of Loy Giffin Funeral Home in Wardensville.
