Charles Elton Williams, Jr., age 88, of Moorefield, W.Va. passed this life on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Grant County Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, W.Va.
Born on July 23, 1928 in Moorefield, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles Elton Williams, Sr. and Rebecca Wood Williams. He was the last living member of his immediate family.
Charles was a farmer and a bonded livestock dealer. He was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church. He was also a U.S.
Army Veteran and lifetime member of the American Legion Post 64.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Swick Williams and two sisters, Elizabeth Perry and Anne Grover.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Wolfe Crider; son, Charles “Chuck” Williams, III and his
wife, Robin, of Moorefield, W.Va.; daughter, Cheryl W. Harwood of Moorefield, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held CHARLES ELTON WILLIAMS, JR. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Elmore
Funeral Home with Pastors Russell and Lucy Webster officiating.
Burial was at Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, W.Va.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home.
