Leonard Ralph Viola, 64, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Viola was born June 10, 1952 in Mary View Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Emilio J. Viola, Jr. and Erma Grace Burton Viola.
After graduating from Moorefield High School in 1970, he briefly attended West Virginia University before moving to Youngstown, Ohio, where he worked as a crane operator for Bethlehem Steel for approximately twelve years. He later returned to the university and eventually received his degree in computer programming in 1991. He then worked in this field for over ten years in the Washington, D.C. area.
Mr. Viola was preceded in death by his father and mother and by his brother, Samuel A. Viola. Surviving are a brother, Andrew A. Viola, his niece, Andrea Viola Duane, and two nephews, Matthew A. Viola and Jeremy Viola.
A celebration of Len’s life will take place in the Conference Center at Smoke Hole Resort in Cabins, WV on 2:00 – 5:00 P. M. Saturday, March 25, 2017.
