Reva See Bowman, 90, of Mathias, W.Va. passed away on Monday October 3, 2016 in Winchester, Va.
She was born on January 13, 1926 in Needmore, W.Va. to Lorenzo and Minnie (Parks) See.
Reva was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was the proprietor of Mo’s Snack Bar in Needmore, W.Va., a graduate of Wardensville High School class of 1946, and a member of the Lady of the Moose Lodge in Winchester.
She married James Moyer Bowman on August 26, 1948 in Baltimore, Md. He passed away in April 1978.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia Ann Renner and husband Kenneth, Minerva Price English and husband James, all of Winchester, and Donna Mae Shipe and husband James of Mathias; two sons, Keith Baxter Bowman and wife Gail of Winchester and James Moyers Bowman II and wife Brenda of Fayettsville, N.C., a brother, Robert See of Louisville, Ky., thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday October 8, 2016 in Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Jonathan Hedrick officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
All arrangements were handled by McKee Funeral Home, Baker, W.Va.
